Coaching for Financial Planners and Advisers

As a Financial Planner or Adviser you will probably know that success requires an extraordinary combination of personal and professional skills. In my experience, many Financial Advisers and Planners fail to reach their maximum potential. Without the motivation, sales skills and knowledge to succeed, many advisers struggle to fully maximise the opportunities in our profession.

I believe things can be better. Advisers can achieve whatever they set out to do. They can make their business a success and make their dreams come true. This is where working with a Coach who really understands your role can make a huge difference.

For the last 25 years I have coached and mentored hundreds of Financial Planners and Advisers to make substantial improvements in all areas of their roles including:

  • Managing their time more effectively so they get more done

  • Finding more of the right sort of clients (as opposed to just more)

  • Getting paid fees that reflect the value of the work they do.

  • Growing their revenue and improving their profitability.

  • Re-discovering their passion and enthusiasm for the role.

If you are experiencing any of these challenges or frustrations then my role as your Coach is to assist you in overcoming these challenges and to start working on new and empowering goals. I can help you to create tools and processes which will help you to achieve your goals and objectives faster and more effectively.

To ensure that there is a good fit between what you are looking for and the actual services I provide, I will invest time and effort into getting to know you and what you are looking to achieve. This approach will help us both make an informed decision about whether we should work together as a team.

Step 1

An initial chat

A 30 minute telephone discussion to establish the specific challenges and issues you are facing and the kind of input and help you are looking for. I will then give you a brief overview of the support I can offer and an outline of the fees that are relevant to the work involved.

Step 2

Get to know you

I may ask you to complete my pre-coaching questionnaire which will detail your current situation including your opportunities, challenges, ambition, and what you believe are your support requirements.

Step 3

Clarification both ways

Your responses to my questionnaire will help me to gain a greater understanding of your business position. I will then schedule a Zoom, telephone or face to face meeting to review your responses and to discuss the type of coaching that is appropriate. If both parties are in agreement I will prepare my Coaching contract for you to sign and in addition request the first month’s fees in advance.

Step 4

Coaching and ongoing support

Whilst the impact will be greatest when my coaching is delivered on an ongoing basis, initially we would work together on a short term agreement of 3 months. The sessions will normally be held weekly for at least the first month and can revert to fortnightly or monthly thereafter. I will also provide email support between our sessions as and when needed.
