Personality Profiling (DISC)

Personality Profiling is sometimes referred to as Psychometric Testing or Psychological Profiling. It is a means of measuring an individual’s personality in a particular situation. It is designed to seek out information about a person’s temperament, decision-making methods, communication style and general attitude. It is not a measure of intelligence or ability but of behaviour. As an accredited DISC® practitioner I can provide this leading personal assessment tool to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication.

What are Personality Styles?

Personality profiling helps to identify an individual’s personality style. All personalities are a combination of the four core styles – Dominant, Influencing, Steady, Compliant.

What does D.I.S.C. measure?

  • How a person solves problems and responds to challenges
  • How a person attempts to influence or persuade others
  • The pace at which a person responds to change
  • How a person responds to rules and regulations

Why is Personality Profiling important?

Personality profiling facilitates a respectful understanding of communication preferences and expectations. It is the ultimate self-awareness tool that provides individuals with a detailed analysis of their personal behavioural style, providing a valuable and practical guide to make appropriate behaviour modifications within any environment or personal interaction.
Having an understanding of the D.I.S.C. system gives individuals knowledge to enable them to achieve an effective standard of inter-personal skills and personal success.

It also assists with:

  • Effective Recruitment and Employee Retention
  • Personality Conflict Resolution
  • Stress Identification and Subsequent Management
  • Non-confrontational Feedback Mechanism
  • Career Planning and Personal Development
  • Positive and Productive Team Working
